Alex Buktenica is an instrument repair technician and a violin maker. He holds a masters degree in violin making from Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria Cremona, Italy, where he graduated second in his class. His instruments have been bought by violinists across the United States. Alex apprenticed here at Bellwood Violin beginning at age 12. He has been playing violin since age 4.
